In an exclusive partnership with Dexterton Corporation, Blanco, the leading German name in premium kitchen water solutions, officially debuted its freshly revamped exhibit space on May 7, 2024, located at Dexterton’s premier showroom building at the heart of Bonifacio Global City (BGC).

Formally called “Form & Function: Shaping the Future of Filipino Kitchens,” Blanco’s showroom launch aimed to create a space for design professionals to discuss kitchen efficiency and functionality by exploring impressive technologies in water solutions spearheaded by the brand. It was attended by local and international designers, end-users, and media partners, all gathered to share a tumultuous night underscored by the enthralling presence of Blanco in the Philippine market.

Lars Myrup, Managing Director of Blanco, was present at the launch and gave an inspired introduction and welcome speech, which gave attendees a better grasp of Blanco’s ethos. “Blanco,” Myrup shares, “is a renowned kitchen water place specialist, offering a system solution designed to elevate the functionality and aesthetics of domestic kitchens."

He proceeded to shine the spotlight on their SILGRANIT sinks, made from one-of-a-kind granite composite material known for its strength and durability, perfected by Blanco to resist stains, scratches, chips, acid, and heat. The new collection of colors, including Volcano Grey and Soft White, alongside high-end mixer taps in finishes such as Satin Gold and Matte Black, were highlighted as key elements that would contemporize Filipino kitchens to a different level.

The exclusive launch event also featured a talk by Charisse and Coleen Ong of Studio Ong. The sisters spoke about their design process and their collaboration with Blanco in the design of Inato, a restaurant where Blanco’s Quatrus sinks played a pivotal role in enhancing kitchen workflow. This insightful discussion was a perfect reflection of Blanco’s role in not only creating beautiful kitchens but also improving the way we interact with them.

The Ongs were followed by the elegant Audrey Go, leader of Dexterton Corporation who thanked guests for coming and expressed her fascination and excitement for the future of Blanco with Dexterton. The corporation continues to solidify its position as the exclusive distributor of Blanco in the Philippines, offering a comprehensive collection of the brand’s premium products designed to suit a wide range of tastes, preferences, and culinary traditions. The showroom itself serves as a stunning testament to this partnership, providing a sophisticated space for designers, architects, and homeowners to experience Blanco’s seamless integration of style, practicality, and sustainability.

The event was attended by a variety representatives from top design and architecture firms, including Studio Ong, Empire Designs, Hurray Design, Moss Design, SLIC, and many more, creating an ideal environment for collaboration and networking as they toured the newly renovated showroom and explored Blanco’s full range of kitchen solutions.

The evening concluded with a celebratory buffet, where guests enjoyed catering from La Tallana and later received generous giveaway gifts, including Blanco-engraved wooden boards, mini grazing boxes, and Blanco swatch boxes for design firms—symbols of the evening’s success and a reminder of Blanco’s elevated role in shaping the future of Filipino kitchens.

In this new chapter of Blanco’s journey in the Philippines, the brand is not only providing unparalleled products but is also fostering a deeper conversation around the intersection of design, functionality, and sustainability in the modern kitchen.
