On March 29, 2025, the Dexterton BGC Showroom welcomed 25 students from the University of the Philippines Diliman's UP Design Core, offering them an exclusive, hands-on experience with premium home furnishings and building materials. The event, designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications, provided a unique opportunity for future interior designers to immerse themselves in industry-leading products and innovations.
The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a warm reception for the students, followed by a short welcome speech from UP Design Core alumni and now Dexterton Home and Lifestyle Category Manager, as well as Caracole and Simmons Brand Manager, Denise Aguilar and Bryan Carreon. Their presence underscored the company's commitment to fostering future designers, as both once stood in the same shoes as the visiting students.
Guided by Dexterton Key Account Managers and showroom experts, Carlfred Calimbo and Maria Fe Paler, the students embarked on an insightful tour of the Dexterton BGC showroom, where they explored a curated selection of high-end building materials, furniture, and home lifestyle products. The interactive experience allowed them to witness first-hand the quality and craftsmanship of Dexterton's world-class partner brands like Kohler, Brizo, Caracole, Simmons, Fantini, and more.
